Harper to tour the United Kingdom Again in December!!!!!

Harper & his band Midwest Kind will tour England and Wales from Tuesday December 16 to Sunday December 21, 2008 to coincide with his European Tour of Belgium and The Netherlands.  Harper will be featured on the Paul Jones Show on Radio 1, BBC on Monday December 8 in the UK. Harper to write music for "Trouble with the Alphabet" book release, Sept, 2008

Harper placed third in International Songwriting Competition, April, 08. 

Harper's song "Just What Youre Looking for" was placed third in the International Songwriting Competition from 15000 entries from over 100 countries for the blues category. One of the judges-the legendary John Mayall liked Harper's song so much that he will be recording it on his next Blues Breakers CD.  Please check out: www.songwritingcompetition.com  

Harper to return to the United Kingdom, May, 2008  

Due to the incredible response Harper & his band received during their July, 07 tour, a return tour is booked for May 22 to June 2, 2008.  Harper also scored a recording session with Paul Jones (from Manred Mann) on Radio 1 BBC- one of the most prestigious radio shows in the UK.  Harper's "12 shows in 12 days" UK tour is featured

Harper to tour Belgium & The Netherlands, December, 2008

Harper & his band "Mid West Kind" will tour Belgium and The Netherlands in December, 2008. Harper will also perform at at The Pjeire Blues Festival in Vilvoorde, Belgium.  This tour will be a first for the Harper & his band.
Harper's Australian Tour, 2007

Harper had a brilliant two week tour to Australia in early November, 07. He  performed at The Wangaratta Festival of Jazz  www.wangaratta-jazz.org.au , The Maldon Folk Festival www.maldonfolkfestival.com , The Famous Spiegeltent www.spiegeltent.net and The Sydney Harmonica Festival www.bluetongueharmonica.com.au .
